Join us for 2 days of live jazz, food, and fun at the 2025 Kentucky Heritage Jazz Festival with "A Taste of New Orleans" at historic Old Fort Harrod State Park. This is a FREE Event on October 11-12 showcasing 15 regional and national jazz ensembles. Also there will be FREE ADMISSION for festival attendees to tour historic OLD FORT HARROD on Saturday and Sunday daily until 5 pm. You can also visit the "scarecrow" exhibit and vote on your favorite.
Music from 11 am to 11 pm on Saturday. Jazz legend Jamey Aebersold will be swinging on Saturday afternoon with his quartet. The Circle City Sidewalk Stomper Clown Band will entertain too on Saturday for a family friendly fun time. Sofia Goodman and the Nashville Jazz All Stars return. And we’re excited to announce our headliner Saturday night, trumpeter Brad Goode and his Quintet featuring jazz legends Ernie Watts on tenor sax and drummer Adam Nussbaum.

This is an outdoor event held rain or shine. Please check the weather and plan accordingly. Small pop-up tents and umbrellas are allowed in designated areas. Bring a lawn chair for your personal seating.
