THE SOMERSET BIG BAND
The mission of the Somerset Big Band is to entertain, enrich and promote the rich tradition of big band jazz to the Central Kentucky community through high-quality, entertaining performances. The SBB aims to keep traditional big band jazz relevant along with moving the big band jazz idiom into the modern music scene through collaboration, education, and advocacy.
WE ARE A 21-PIECE BIG BAND
Since 2016, the SBB has performed at festivals, corporate events, and hosted their own concerts, showcasing traditional big band music and premiering new compositions.
